Community Health Promotion
On Community health promotion, thematic focuses on 2 areas; Communication and Education.
Communication: Raising awareness about healthy behaviors to promote action that will improve health through behavioral risk education.
Education: Empowering behavior change actions through increased knowledge.
Child Protection Advocacy
For more than two years, Grassroot for Health and Sustainable development have been championing for the rights and life skills building for growth and development of children through Child Protection Right Based Approach that promotes children participation in their health and development
Creating a Sustainable Livelihood
Our aim is to create a sustainable livelihood through natural resource management (by use of climate smart technology to increase income, food security, increase well-being and reduce vulnerability)
These activities are done with organized women groups who are affiliates of Grassroot Network for Health and Sustainable Development. 48 women are practicing women climate smart agriculture in farming indigenous nutritious vegetables. The table banking have been the main source of loan they used to start the agribusiness after we trained them
